This explains what Timzo stores, why, and what you can do about it. Timzo is built and operated by PNV Consulting, and it is a time tracker: the less we hold, the better it works for everyone.
What we store
- Your account — name, email address, time zone, and a hashed password. We never store the password itself.
- Your work — time entries, descriptions, tags, projects and clients you create.
- Your workspace — its name, and its subscription status.
- Operational logs — enough to run the service and investigate faults.
There is no advertising, no tracking pixel, no third-party analytics, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for their own purposes.
Why we store it
To provide the service you signed up for — showing your time back to you, producing reports, and billing you if you're on a paid plan. That's the whole list.
Who else is involved
- Microsoft Azure hosts the application and stores its data.
- Paddle processes payments as merchant of record. They receive your billing details directly; we receive only the resulting subscription status.
- Microsoft Graph sends transactional email — password resets and confirmations.
Workspace separation
Each workspace's data is stored under its own isolated prefix, and requests are scoped to one workspace at the storage layer rather than by a filter in the application. Within a workspace, members see only their own time unless an admin has been given a wider view.
How long we keep it
For as long as your workspace exists. Cancelling a paid plan does not delete anything — it returns you to the free tier. If you ask us to delete a workspace, we delete it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. You can export your time yourself as CSV at any time from the Reports page, without asking anyone. For the rest, get in touch and we'll deal with it.
Cookies
One cookie, for staying signed in. It is not used for tracking, and there is nothing else to consent to.
Getting in touch
For anything in this notice, including a data request, reply to any email you've had from us or contact the address on your invoice.
