Terms of service

Last updated 11 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Timzo, a hosted time-tracking service built and operated by PNV Consulting. By creating a workspace you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.

Your account and your workspace

A workspace belongs to the organisation that created it, and the person who signed it up is its owner. You're responsible for what happens under accounts in your workspace, for keeping passwords to yourself, and for making sure the people you invite are entitled to see the time recorded there.

What you may not do

  • Use Timzo to break the law, or to store data you have no right to store.
  • Attempt to reach another workspace's data, or to probe or disrupt the service.
  • Resell access, or run it as a service for others under your own name.

Plans and payment

The free tier is genuinely free and has no time limit. Paid plans are charged per active person per month. Payment is handled by Paddle, who act as merchant of record — they take the payment, handle VAT, and issue the invoice. We never see or store your card details.

You can cancel at any time. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you've paid for, then the workspace returns to the free tier. Nothing is deleted when that happens: your entries, projects, clients and reports stay, and you can export them. If your workspace is over the free limits, extra accounts stop being able to sign in until you're back within them — the owner chooses which account stays active.

If a payment fails we keep your paid limits for a short grace period while your provider retries, and tell you in the app. After that the workspace returns to the free tier as above.

Availability

We work to keep Timzo available and your data intact, but the service is provided as-is, without a guaranteed uptime figure. Keep your own exports of anything you can't afford to lose.

Ending things

You can stop using Timzo whenever you like and export your data on the way out. We may suspend a workspace that breaks these terms, and will say why when we do.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
